Attack of the Betta Fish!

For the last 5 months Betta fish (also known as, Siamese fighting fish)have become extremely popular. Well, I guess they were always popular, but for me this is something new. I mean, I deal with all kinds of people on a daily basis that have different kinds of needs and wants when it comes to the topic of fish and a betta would come up every now and then; but now it’s only about Betta’s. I assume there are four reasons for this. The first reason is mere interest. Betta fish are seen just about everywhere, offices, on the counter at your hair or nail salon, class rooms, and possibly even at some of your friends houses; the more you see them when you’re out and about, the more they appeal to your interest. The second reason is ease. Everyone says “betta fish are so easy to care for, they don’t need a big aquarium with a filter, they only need to be fed once a day, and they can even go up to four days without eating.” The third reason is cost. For under $20 you can own a complete betta setup that includes the fish, the housing, the food, and the water treatment chemicals. The fourth reason is companionship. Whether you’re having a hard day at the office, you just had a hard day or you just want some company; the betta will be there for you. To get your betta, and instructions for caring for them email me and I will be glad to help you.
